Rivers State Government Cancels Secretariat Deal
The Rivers State Government has cancelled a N134 billion contract for the reconstruction of the State Secretariat complex.
This contract was awarded under former Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ikot Ete Ibas (rtd.).
Governor Siminalayi Fubara's administration has ordered the contractor to refund the N20 billion mobilisation fee already paid.
No comment from the contractor or former administrator has been released.
