Englert Theatre Announces Interim Executive Director
Following a year of programming changes, the Englert Theatre has announced new leadership after the departure of its executive director, John Schickedanz, who is leaving "to pursue other opportunities".
Schickedanz took on the role in June 2022, after initially serving as interim director during the theater's national search, which followed the departure of Andre Perry in 2021.
The Board of Directors has named events director Keegan Colletta Huckfeldt as the interim executive director, effective Thursday, Oct.
Keegan Colletta Huckfeldt will lead the theater during this transitional phase.
This change comes after a year of significant changes for the Englert Theatre, including the final year of producing the Mission Creek Festival and the launch of the Iowa City Songwriters Festival (ICSF).
