DP World Expands Clubhouse Initiative to India
DP World, the main sponsor of the DP World Tour, has launched its Clubhouse initiative in India to increase accessibility to golf for underserved youth.
The Clubhouse is constructed from repurposed shipping containers and provides golf equipment, sheltered training areas, and a safe space for young talent to develop their skills.
- India is the second country to benefit from the programme, following the launch in Cape Town, South Africa, earlier this year.
- The launch coincided with the US$4 million DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club.
Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood attended the launch ceremony.
