Tottenham's Interest in Lautaro Rivero
A Tottenham official has traveled to South America to negotiate a potential €100m deal for River Plate's Lautaro Rivero.
According to Spanish journalist Pascual Ruiz Arnal, both Tottenham Hotspur and Atlético Madrid are interested in the 21-year-old centre-back, who has come up through the ranks of River Plate's academy.
- Rivero was sent on an 18-month loan to Central Córdoba in January 2024, where he played 30 matches.
- He returned to River Plate last summer and has since played 10 matches for the club.
- Rivero made his debut for Argentina earlier this week.
