Meghalaya has become the second-fastest growing economy in the country, after Tamil Nadu, with an average annual growth rate of 10% over the past three years, according to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma.
The Chief Minister made this announcement while inaugurating the Nongkharai Presbyterian Higher Secondary School at Umsohpieng, where he was the chief guest.
The state’s consistent growth reflects years of investment in welfare, infrastructure, and human resource development.
