The Visiting Writers Series, a celebration of creative writing, featured three professors and writers from the University of Idaho: Michael McGriff, Thomas Dai, and Alexandra Teague.
They read from their published books and poetry, followed by a Q&A session where attendees asked about writing tips and the professors' work.
Dai, an essayist and assistant professor at UI, read passages from his new book, "Say My Name but Say It Slow," at the event.
