Organized by the Napa Institute, a crowd of approximately 5,000 people gathered in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan for a Holy Hour and Mass, followed by a Eucharistic procession.
The 6th Annual Eucharistic procession took place in New York City on October 14, a day after a Nor’easter affected the tri-state area. Organizers praised God for holding back the rain during the event, allowing the procession to occur peacefully in Times Square at 5 p.m.
During the Holy Hour, attendees listened to a talk by Cardinal Giorgio Marengo, the Apostolic Prefect of Ulaanbaatar, a missionary jurisdiction covering Mongolia.
