Brio and Bravo get strategic investment from R&R Brands

R&R Brands Invests in Brio and Bravo

R&R Brands, a new multibrand restaurant group led by Scott Taylor, has made a strategic investment in Italian casual-dining chains Brio Italian Grill and Bravo Italian Kitchen.

Both chains, previously owned and operated by Earl Enterprises, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August. The new agreement, which closed in October, will see R&R Brands take over as manager of the brands.

As part of R&R Brands, Brio and Bravo will join other brands, including Party Fowl, Cody’s Original Roadhouse, and Santa Fe Cattle Co., as well as multiple locations of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux and two movie theaters.

No comment on the exact stake Earl Enterprises maintains under the new agreement.
