It's an ‘absolute honour’ to be captain of Na Piarsaigh says Jerome Boylan

Na Piarsaigh Captain Jerome Boylan on Leading His Team

Na Piarsaigh senior hurling captain Jerome Boylan expressed his pride in leading his club into the Limerick senior hurling championship final against Doon on Sunday.

It's an absolute honour

Boylan reflected on his journey, mentioning that 2011 was when Na Piarsaigh won their first county title, and he looked up to players like Kieran Breen, Cathall King, William O'Donoghue, and Mike Casey.

And to be put in the same bracket as them is a huge honour, I actually never thought that I would be captaining a Na Piarsaigh team to a county final, it's an honour I don't even know what to say to be honest

Boylan also shared his relief at putting injuries behind him after struggling with them over the last few years, including a small knock that kept him out of the first two games.
