Guilty Plea in Fatal Road Crash
A 32-year-old woman from West Clare is set to plead guilty to dangerous driving causing the death of Michael Lorigan, a 70-year-old cyclist and Limerick school teacher.
The incident occurred on August 16, 2023, at around 12:30pm on the N67 at Baunmore, Kilkee.
My understanding is that there is a guilty plea to the charge and it has the same effect as going forward to the circuit court on a signed plea.
Saoirse Lillis McMahon, of Moveen East, Kilkee, was served with the Book of Evidence at Ennis District Court.
