UD Creates Office of National Fellowships
The University of Delaware has established the Office of National Fellowships (ONF) to support students in securing prestigious national fellowships.
A third-year pre-dental student, Agnes Cruz, sought to study abroad in Chile but faced funding obstacles. With the help of ONF, she applied for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, a competitive scholarship funded by the U.S. Department of State.
“I genuinely don’t think I could have finished my application without that support,”
Cruz said, citing the ONF staff's guidance on essay writing and encouragement to include personal details.
