Immigrants staying at the Row Hotel shelter in Midtown, a flashpoint in the migrant crisis, have begun receiving notices to relocate.
The notices, shared with Gothamist, instruct migrants to leave the site as early as November or as late as February.
"We would like to help you make the next steps in order to leave this temporary emergency shelter, located at the Row... After this date, you have to make a request to stay longer in the shelter.”
A staff member will explain the relocation process to migrants before their indicated departure date.
