Richland students are gearing up their aprons to fight food insecurity

Richland Students Combat Food Insecurity

The Richland School District Community Based Transition Center has introduced a new program, Food 4 Thought, where students don aprons and gloves to cook meals for families in need at Chief Joseph Middle School.

"One of my favorite dishes that I made is the mac n cheese... it's really amazing what we're doing, helping the community," said Mannie Abrams, a student at the center.

Students are actively involved in the kitchen, developing their culinary skills to deliver meals to those struggling with food insecurity.
