Bismarck City Commission to Determine Future of Chicken Ownership
Chickens in Bismarck city limits have been a topic of discussion for months.
The city council will decide whether to permit residents to keep chickens within city limits and eliminate setback requirements for coops on residential properties in the extraterritorial area (ETA).
A public survey showed that 44% of responders are against the proposal and 56% are in favor.
