The weather in Mallorca is expected to remain unsettled for the rest of the week, with a lower risk of rain.
A yellow alert has been issued for the north and northeast of the island on Wednesday, with a risk of rain and thunderstorms from 4am to 11am, and up to 25 litres of rainfall per square metre in one hour.
Given experience of the past few days, it is possible these alerts could apply elsewhere and for longer.
Temperatures on Tuesday reached highs of 29.3°C in Palma Port and 26°C in other areas.
