Charges Upgraded to First-Degree Murder in Jefferson City Shooting
The Cole County Prosecuting Attorney's Office announced that 40-year-old Michael A. Davis' charges have been upgraded to First-Degree Murder.
Davis is accused of shooting two people in Cole County. The victims, Shawna Davis, 39, and Sofie Mulcahey, 31, both of Jefferson City, were transported to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, where they succumbed to their injuries.
The upgrade in charges reflects the deaths of the two women Davis is accused of shooting and killing in a car in Jefferson City.
