Introduction of The New Energy Industrial Strategy Center
A new organization, The New Energy Industrial Strategy Center, has been launched in partnership with the environmental group RMI and other energy groups.
The center aims to power major areas of the global economy, such as artificial intelligence computing and semiconductor production, with advanced energy technologies.
Key Areas of Focus
The New Energy Industrial Strategy Center will focus on the U.S., U.K., Europe, India, and Brazil, with priorities in the areas of:
- Manufacturing
- Permitting
- Electricity demand increases
- Low-emissions hydrogen
The strategy center will publish policy advice, while also working closely with the private sector - Sarah Ladislaw, RMI managing director.
