A man was hit by a car after walking onto the roadway of I-275, resulting in a highway shutdown as Michigan State Police investigate.
According to officials, the incident occurred just before 8 p.m. when a man pulled his car over on the side of SB I-275, got out, and walked into traffic. One driver managed to swerve around and avoid the man, but a second car was unable to avoid him and struck the pedestrian.
