Fatal Crashes in Bethlehem
Bethlehem Police reported that an 83-year-old man from West Coxsackie caused two separate crashes within minutes of each other on Friday, resulting in one fatality.
The first crash occurred at 12:46 p.m. on Route 9W near Church Road, where the elderly driver crossed into the southbound lane and sideswiped another vehicle, injuring no one.
Minutes later, at 12:48 p.m., a second crash happened on Route 9W near Wemple Road, resulting in one death.
