Avs Defeat Buffalo 3-1
The Avalanche improved to 3-0-1 through the first week of the season with a 3-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres.
Despite being outplayed early, the Avalanche managed to secure the win, thanks in large part to the efforts of Nathan MacKinnon and Martin Necas. As one might say,
they were the differencein the game.

- Martin Necas assisted on both of MacKinnon's goals
- Cale Makar scored the final goal
The Avalanche will have two nights off before taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road on Thursday.
