Bendel Insurance Appoints Kennedy Boboye As New Technical Adviser
Bendel Insurance have confirmed the appointment of Kennedy Boboye as their new technical adviser, replacing Greg Ikhenoba who was dismissed two weeks ago.
Boboye, 51, has signed a two-year deal with the Benin-based side and will be officially unveiled on Tuesday. Before his appointment, he last managed Nigeria National League side Akwa United.
His first assignment will be to steady the ship after Insurance’s 1-0 loss to Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Bayelsa United stunned Rivers United 2-1 in a South-South derby played at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Monday morning.
