Appointment of New Secretary to the State Government
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has appointed Hon. Benibo Anabraba as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The appointment was officially announced through a statement by Dr. Honour Kuru Sirawoo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Anabraba is set to be sworn in on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 4:00 pm in the State Executive Council Chambers at the Government House, Port Harcourt.
- Guests are expected to be seated by 3:30 pm.
- Anabraba is a veteran politician and experienced administrator with a background in the Rivers State House of Assembly and other key governmental roles.
His appointment is part of Governor Fubara’s effort to strengthen the state administration and ensure effective governance.
