Ecorobotix Doubles Down on AI Software for Precision Spraying
Ecorobotix, a Swiss company, has raised $150 million across Series C and D rounds to support its Plant-by-Plant AI software.
The company's ARA "smart" spraying systems utilize computer vision and robotics for precise application of pesticides and crop protection products, operating in over 20 countries.
According to Ecorobotix, the Plant-by-Plant system can distinguish each individual plant and treat them with a spray footprint of just a few centimeters.
This technology potentially allows growers to save on input costs and reduce chemical dependency.
The new funding will primarily accelerate the development of the Plant-by-Plant AI software, as stated by Ecorobotix CEO Dominique Mégret.
