The white stuff could move in overnight from Tuesday, with chilly lows of 1°C expected. By 10 am on November 19, temperatures rise to only 2°C, with snow forecast to continue. By the afternoon, rain will move over Edinburgh with temperatures reaching 4°C, with lows of -1°C expected. According to BBC Weather, snow will start again at 3 pm as temperatures drop back to around 2°C. Light snow is set to continue throughout the rest of the day and overnight.
Into Thursday, November 20, more snow is expected in the early hours. After 10 am, it’s set to stop with more rain returning from 11 am until around 4 pm. By the evening, residents can expect snow yet again. By 8 pm, temperatures drop to around 1°C as the snow continues. Friday, November 21, will see snowy conditions end, with heavy showers hitting the city. Temperatures are expected to be around 5°C throughout the day, with rain persisting.
BBC Weather notes that snow may continue at times into the following days with fluctuating temperatures and wintry showers.
