The Ottawa Senators once again found themselves in an overtime battle on Tuesday night, ultimately falling 3-2 to the Dallas Stars at the Canadian Tire Centre. Despite starting strong, the team struggled to finish chances, continuing a familiar pattern this season.
“We’re not sitting here surprised we played well. It was a hard-fought hockey game,” said coach Travis Green.
“When you play good teams, I thought we had some chances to put the game away, and we gave them new life.”
The loss keeps Ottawa looking for consistency as the season progresses. Despite competitive efforts, the inability to finish strong in tight matchups continues to cost valuable points.
The Senators fought hard but again fell short in overtime, highlighting their ongoing struggle to turn strong starts into complete wins.
