Season 5 of Marvel Rivals introduces a new non-combat map located in Times Square, expanding the game's social experience. Developed by Netease, this update brings significant changes to the hero-shooter’s environment.
The Times Square hub will serve as a place where players can relax, interact, and display their cosmetics. Similar to Fortnite’s pre-match lobby, this setting allows for a variety of playful activities and showcases.
“Marvel Rivals is all set to welcome a new party hub in Season 5, which will be a non-combat map set in Times Square.”
The developers revealed that Rogue and Gambit will headline the season, adding fresh content alongside the new Times Square arena. The hub is expected to appear as a separate playlist option within the matchmaking menu.
According to the promotional video, players can dance, communicate, and even watch videos together on a giant screen integrated into the hub environment. It captures the lively, colorful essence of Times Square under glowing lights.
“The Times Square hub will let Rivals players show off their cosmetics and engage in all sorts of digital silliness.”
Marvel Rivals Season 5 enhances the game with a large, dynamic social hub in Times Square, mixing spectacle, fun, and community into the multiplayer experience.
