The FIFA World Cup is coming to Canada in 2026, and many of the nation's top musicians will participate in a special project celebrating the event.
Canada Soccer announced a new program called Perfect Pitch, which brings together prominent Canadian artists to create an album inspired by the upcoming tournament. The World Cup will be hosted in Toronto, Vancouver, and 14 other cities across North America.
These artists are working with Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da on the project.
“The energy around this project has been incredible. It’s inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we’re creating isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural statement. The music represents every corner of the country, and I’m proud of how collaborative and inclusive the process has been,” said Boi-1da.
The album will include original songs, re-imagined tracks, and unique collaborations among Canada’s most celebrated musicians. It is scheduled for release ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off across North America in June next year.
