The FIFA World Cup will take place in Canada next year, and many prominent figures from the country's entertainment industry will participate. Canada Soccer announced a new program on Tuesday, highlighting a large lineup of Canada’s top musical talents collaborating on an album themed around the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The tournament will be hosted in Toronto, Vancouver, and 14 other cities across North America. The project, called Perfect Pitch, features artists such as Alessia Cara, Charlotte Cardin, Loud Luxury, Nelly Furtado, The Tragically Hip, and Zeds Dead, all working with Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da.
"The energy around this project has been incredible. It’s inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we’re creating isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural statement. The music represents every corner of the country, and I’m proud of how collaborative and inclusive the process has been," said Boi-1da.
The album will offer original songs, reimagined tracks, and unique collaborations between Canada’s most celebrated artists. It is scheduled for release ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which begins next June across North America.
