The final event of the Grand Slam of Curling season, the GSOC Tahoe Final, brings together top teams from Canada, Switzerland, and Scotland this Sunday. After a thrilling week of competition, the season concludes in Stateline, Nevada, on the southeastern shore of Lake Tahoe.
This year marks a shift in the curling calendar as there will be no National tournament for the upcoming 2025–26 season. Instead, this event carries the new title of the GSOC Tahoe Final. The original National tournament began in 2002 for the men’s division and expanded to include the women’s competition in 2015.
The GSOC Tahoe Final marks a milestone as the first major Grand Slam of Curling event staged outside of Canada, reflecting the sport’s growing global reach.
The men’s final will feature Team Matt Dunstone of Canada against Team Mouat of Scotland, while the women’s championship will see Team Homan from Canada face off against Team Silvana Tirinzoni of Switzerland.
