K-pop singer Hyuna, 33, known by her stage name derived from her birth name Kim Hyun-ah, collapsed during a performance of her hit solo song Bubble Pop in Macau.
Video footage online captured the moment she fell midway through the performance before being assisted offstage by dancers and staff.
Following the incident, Hyuna addressed her fans on social media with an apology:
“Although it was a short period since the previous performance, I wanted to show a good appearance, but I felt unprofessional.”
She admitted to not remembering the events during the collapse and expressed regret toward fans who had paid to see her.
“I’ll try to build my stamina even more and work hard consistently.”
Hyuna reassured everyone that she was fine:
“I hope everyone has a good night. Good night.”
Fans had expressed worry after earlier posts where she shared an image on a scale while criticizing herself for weight gain, indicating some health concerns.
Hyuna collapsed during a concert but quickly apologized and promised to improve her health, reassuring fans she is doing fine despite recent worries.
