Queensland Police Service Mourns Ian Leavers APM
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) confirms with deep sadness the unexpected passing of Ian Leavers APM, the Queensland Cross-Border Commissioner, former President of the Queensland Police Union of Employees (QPUE), and former QPS member. Mr. Leavers was found deceased at approximately 9:50 a.m. today following a police response to an address in Mount Ommaney. The death is not being treated as suspicious, with investigations ongoing.
