South Korean singer Hyuna, aged 33, caused concern on November 9, 2025, when she fainted during her performance at the Waterbomb Macau music festival. She was performing her hit song Bubble Pop! (2011) when she collapsed on stage.
Videos shared on social media show the moment two backup dancers quickly attended to her before a security staff member carried her off the stage.
Hyuna, formerly part of iconic K-pop groups including Wonder Girls, 4Minute, and Triple H, addressed the incident on Instagram later that day.
“I’m truly sorry,” she wrote in Korean. “It was only a short time since my last performance, but I wanted to show you my best side.”
She expressed that she had no memory of fainting and apologized to the fans in Macau who had paid to see her.
“I’ll try to build up my stamina and work hard consistently,” Hyuna added. “It will be so great if everything goes my way, but I’ll try my best.”
Hyuna fainted during her Waterbomb Macau performance but reassured fans she is recovering and committed to improving her health and stamina.
