Plane Crash Near Fort Worth's Hicks Airfield

A twin-engine plane crashed near Hicks Airfield in Fort Worth, resulting in the deaths of two people and damaging at least ten semi-trucks.

The incident occurred at 1:30 p.m. in the 12700 block of N. Saginaw Blvd., near Avondale, and involved a King Air Twin Engine Aircraft that had departed from Alliance Airport.

The fire was brought under control within 35 minutes, by 2:11 p.m., with the assistance of 10 firetrucks, 14 support vehicles, and three ambulances.
