Aussie Olympic swimming legend Ariarne Titmus has shared significant updates about her personal life following her retirement from professional swimming at age 25.
Titmus recently moved to Melbourne to live with her partner, Mac Powell, an investment analyst.
“It's just happened this week, new beginnings, a fresh start, a new chapter,” Titmus said. “Mac and I are living together. It was hard to leave Queensland, but I do have family in Melbourne and a lot of friends here who have moved from Tasmania.”
She expressed contentment with her decision to retire and is enjoying a more typical lifestyle away from the rigors of competitive swimming.
“It took me a while to make the decision...and I've definitely made the right one,” she told News Corp.
