LoL Worlds 2025: Eligible Champions for Worlds Skins

Sheep Esports presents expert analysis and the latest updates in League of Legends Esports. The Worlds 2025 grand final will feature T1 versus KT Rolster in what is expected to be the most iconic Telecom War in history, scheduled for next Sunday.

Worlds Skins Eligibility Criteria

Only the five players from the winning team receive the exclusive Worlds skins. To be eligible, a player must use a champion they played at least once during the tournament, including the Swiss stage, Play-In, or Knockout rounds.

Riot usually advises players against selecting champions that already have a Worlds skin, though exceptions exist. The total number of skins awarded is generally capped at six—one for each player and sometimes a coach ward skin.

Champions Played by Contenders

So far, KT Rolster has played 11 games, while T1 has appeared in 19, including Play-In matches. This leads to T1 having used a larger variety of champions—44 compared to KT’s 32. Of these, 30 champions are common to both teams.

Champions with Existing Worlds Skins

Among the champions played, several already have Worlds skins. Notably, if T1 secures their third consecutive Worlds title this year, Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok would reach 10 Worlds skins, owning skins for over one-third of all League of Legends champions.

"If T1 wins their third consecutive Worlds title this Sunday, it is worth noting that Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok would then have 10 skins in the game, considering he already currently owns skins for more than one third of all the champions in League of Legends."

Author's summary: The 2025 Worlds final between T1 and KT Rolster will decide the exclusive Worlds skins, a prestigious reward based on champions played, highlighting Faker's potential historic achievement.
