The 2025 League of Legends World Championship Opening Ceremony, presented by Mastercard, will be held on November 8 at 11 p.m. GMT at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium in Chengdu. The event marks the start of the world's most anticipated esports tournament.
This year’s ceremony will feature global music acts and an extraordinary visual performance merging technology, art, and storytelling. The creative concept for ACT III is developed in collaboration with DJ and producer Anyma, joined by renowned vocalists G.E.M., Chrissy Costanza, and TEYA to celebrate 15 years of LoL Esports.
“G.E.M., born in Shanghai in 1991, moved to Hong Kong when she was 4. She’s a talented Chinese pop singer, songwriter, producer, and screenwriter.”
With over 120 original songs to her name, G.E.M. continues to make waves in the music scene. Her popular track "Light Years Away" still holds the Guinness World Record for the most viewed Chinese music video. In 2022, she released an original album titled "Revelation," accompanied by a 14-episode music series.
