Bad Company drummer Simon Kirke was joined on stage by Chris Robinson, Bryan Adams, Joe Perry, and Nancy Wilson for a special performance during the band's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The band was inducted Saturday night at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Mick Fleetwood presented the honor, praising Bad Company in his speech.
“My hope was to be at the Rock & Rock Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and to perform for the fans, but at this time I have to prioritize my health. I have no problem singing, it’s the stress of everything else.”
Rodgers withdrew a week before the ceremony due to health issues.
Following the performances, Simon Kirke accepted the award and honored Paul Rodgers as one of the greatest singers ever. He also paid tribute to the late Mick Ralphs, who passed earlier this year, and Boz Burrell, who died in 2006.
Bad Company's Hall of Fame induction highlighted their lasting influence and featured heartfelt tributes alongside dynamic performances by renowned artists honoring the band's legacy.
