Hail International Arabian Horse Beauty Championship Begins

Under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, the fourth edition of the Hail International Arabian Horse Beauty Championship started on November 6. Organized by Hail Principality in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center and following the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO) regulations, the three-day event is hosted at Al-Maghwa Recreational Park.

The governor highlighted that the championship, managed by Saudi experts and upheld to international standards, strengthens the prominence of Arabian horse sports in both the Kingdom and Hail.

This year, the championship attracted wide participation, with 315 horses registered from Saudi Arabia, the United States, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Morocco. The competition began with qualifying rounds on the first two days to select the top three in each category.

Additional Attractions and Cultural Exhibits

Beside the competition, visitors can enjoy an exhibition presenting Hail’s rich heritage and local products, along with art displays and various entertainment shows, providing a blend of tradition and pleasure.

Elena Rybakina made a strong comeback on Friday, defeating Jessica Pegula 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 to reach the WTA Finals final in Riyadh. She will face either Aryna Sabalenka or Amanda Anisimova for the title, aiming for her first season-ending championship.
