Saudi: Arabian Shield Reports Net Losses of SAR 8.8 Million in First Nine Months of 2025

Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Company experienced a net loss after Zakat of SAR 32.83 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, a significant drop from the net profit of SAR 69.21 million recorded in the same period in 2024.

Insurance revenues increased by 19.08%, reaching SAR 1.39 billion in 9M-25, compared to SAR 1.17 billion in 9M-24.

In the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, Arabian Shield reported a net loss of SAR 9.37 million after Zakat, compared to net profits of SAR 16.34 million in Q3-24. However, insurance revenues climbed by 20.89% to SAR 484.12 million in Q3-25 from SAR 400.43 million the previous year.

Quarterly net losses in Q3-25 decreased by 68.67% compared to SAR 29.91 million in Q2-24, alongside a 5.01% revenue rise from SAR 460.99 million.

Per Share Metrics

The loss per share was SAR 0.41 as of 30 September 2025, reversing from earnings per share (EPS) of SAR 0.87 during the same period last year.
