On a Wednesday afternoon in SoHo, a crowd gathered outside the soon-to-open Longines boutique, curious and excited. Among them, locals and visitors alike shared the buzz: “Jennifer Lawrence is in there!”
Inside, Lawrence sat comfortably in an accent chair, effortlessly blending her movie-star charisma with casual normalcy. She wore a brown sweater layered with a matching cardigan draped over her shoulders, paired with a short black skirt featuring a unique doubled-over design.
“It’s a sweater over a sweater,” she explained, “but I didn’t put a skirt over a skirt.”
The outfit, designed by The Row, reflects a subtle layering style popularized by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Lawrence was present to celebrate the boutique's opening and unveil the latest model from Longines, the PrimaLuna watch.
“The PrimaLuna,” she shared, “I don’t normally call watches by their government names, but it’s elegant. I only recently started wearing watches as jewelry, and I think that it’s a really beautiful piece of jewelry.”
This model is a modern relaunch of a classic moonphase watch from Longines, a Swiss brand with a 193-year history.
