Danish toy maker LEGO has launched its first Star Trek set as part of the Icons series: the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from The Next Generation.
For many fans, the iconic Enterprise is the NCC-1701-D, the ship that served Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew throughout the series. It is the fifth Federation starship to bear the name (or sixth if the NX-01 from the Enterprise prequel is counted). The starship was destroyed in the film Star Trek: Generations.
Now, the Galaxy-class starship makes a grand return in LEGO form, designed to occupy a prominent place on your desk with its impressive size and detail.
The LEGO Icons USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D set was created in collaboration with Paramount Products & Experiences. It features not only a faithful model of the starship but also includes figures of the beloved Star Trek crew.
This set is more than just a detailed display model—it can be partially disassembled, allowing adults to recreate iconic missions or imagine new adventures in their living rooms.
"We're dealing not only with a detailed replica of Starfleet's flagship vessel, but also with its beloved crew."
This release fulfills the long-awaited desire of Star Trek and LEGO enthusiasts for a high-quality, immersive model of the NCC-1701-D.
