CM Naidu Launches AP Excise Suraksha App
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has formed a special investigation team to probe the Mulakalacheruvu liquor scandal.
The team, headed by Inspector-General of Police G, includes Director of Enforcement, Prohibition and Excise Rahul Dev Sharma, CID SP K Chakravarthy, and IPS officer Malika Garg.
- 16 out of 23 accused have been arrested, including main accused Janardhan.
- One TDP leader has been suspended for alleged role in the case.
The SIT will conduct a detailed investigation into the scandal.
CM Naidu also launched the AP Excise Suraksha App to curb the spurious liquor menace.
