Dame Helen Mirren will be honored with the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award during the Golden Globes’ new primetime special, Golden Eve, airing Thursday, January 8, before the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday, January 11. The special will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
Mirren, a three-time Golden Globe winner and recipient of Oscar, Emmy, and Tony Awards, is the latest in a distinguished line of DeMille Award honorees. This award has celebrated the lifetime achievements of Hollywood’s most iconic figures since 1952.
The award presentation will be a highlight of the Golden Eve special, which reimagines the Golden Globe festivities. The event will also honor the upcoming Carol Burnett Award recipient, to be announced soon, marking the start of the lead-up to the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards.
