On the occasion of Stranger Things Day, November 6, the creators revealed the first five minutes of the highly anticipated Stranger Things season 5 premiere. The clip quickly went viral across social media and has been met with excitement from fans.
The teaser takes viewers back to November 12, 1983, showing a young 12-year-old Will Byers hiding in Castle Byers. Cold, pale, and shivering, he sings The Clash’s song Should I Stay Or Should I Go.

As Will hides, a Demogorgon locates him and attacks. Will tries to defend himself by firing a rifle at the creature and runs for his life. After some time, he climbs a tree in the Upside Down, trying to escape.
The Demogorgon pursues him up the tree. In a courageous moment, Will jumps toward another tree but fails to grab hold and falls hard to the ground.
Stranger Things 5 is also marked by recent off-screen discussions, including Millie Bobby Brown accusing David Harbour of bullying, which led Netflix to conduct an investigation.
