Italy Splits Squads for Final Biathlon World Cup Preparations
With under a month left before the Biathlon World Cup begins in Östersund, Sweden, the Italian team is finalizing preparations by training in two locations: Norway and Sweden.
Training Groups and Locations
- From November 4 to 17, Dorothea Wierer will train in Geilo, Norway, alongside Tommaso Giacomel, Didier Bionaz, Patrick Braunhofer, Elia Zeni, and Daniele Cappellari.
- This group, coached by Andrea Zattoni and Fabio Cianciana, will participate in the Norwegian season opener on November 15–16.
- Meanwhile, Lukas Hofer and Lisa Vittozzi are preparing in Idre Fjäll, Sweden, supported by coaches Alex Inderst and Edoardo Mezzaro.
- They also plan to compete in the Swedish season-opening races during the same weekend.
