The launch trailer for the Pokemon Legends ZA DLC titled Mega Dimensions has been released, revealing that Pokemon can now surpass the previous level cap of 100. Since the game's initial release, trainers have been progressing from Rank Z to Rank A, a challenging and lengthy journey.
Players start their adventure in Lumiose City, choosing a Pokemon to begin with while exploring wild zones to catch their favorites. In this mainline Pokemon title, collecting Mega Stones allows trainers to mega-evolve their Pokemon, unlocking their highest power levels and becoming top trainers in the Kalos region.
Previously capped at level 100, Pokemon in the original game had reached their maximum power. The Mega Dimensions DLC changes this by letting trainers level up beyond 100 in a new dimension where "Mega Alphas" are prevalent throughout the zones.
The DLC will launch worldwide on Wednesday, November 10, 2025. Pre-orders are available now on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99.
"Team MZ warps into an alternate Mega Dimension of Lumiose City and battles some of the most powerful trainers who boast a fully stacked mega-evolved Pokemon roster."
The new expansion promises to reinvigorate post-level 100 gameplay, making the Pokemon experience richer and more competitive.
The Pokemon Legends ZA DLC "Mega Dimensions" extends gameplay by raising level limits and introducing challenging new Mega-evolved foes in an alternate Lumiose City dimension.
