The New York Mets officially announced Zach Thornton will pitch Sunday against Boston. Thornton joins the big league rotation from Triple-A Syracuse. His spot resulted from sending Tobias Myers down to the minors. The club made both roster moves on July 12, 2026 to start the Boston series.
