wembleymatters.blogspot.comThe latest news about Wembley Stadium Station is that no trains will call at the station on Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31, 2026 due to planned rail engineering works.[5]
| Aspect | Information |
|---|---|
| Closure dates | Saturday May 30 – Sunday May 31, 2026 [5] |
| Reason | Rail engineering works for safety reasons [5] |
| Alternative stations | Wembley Park (London Underground) or local buses [5] |
| Status | Station will be closed to trains both days [5] |
This is a planned closure (not an emergency), and National Rail has published the engineering works details in advance. For match days or events at Wembley Stadium, passengers are advised to use Wembley Park station on the Jubilee/Metropolitan lines or Wembley Central station instead.[5]
Note: There was also an emergency closure in November 2025 due to an incident handled by emergency services, but that has since been resolved.[2]
