A sharp attack at a city construction site took the life of one man early this afternoon. Police investigators believe a screwdriver was used in the brutal stabbing. In a related case officers in Belfast have a 32-year-old man in custody after a after-dark stabbing left a second person in hospital with grave yet treatable injuries.
London police are hunting a knife suspect after the attack, before he fled the street scene. With the situation developing, Gloucestershire officers today arrested two women, aged 28 and 34, over another stabbing in the rural district.
