plans for nearly 500 homes and a new school on the edge of town of Northallerton are progressing town improvements near Stokesley Road with 109 homes approved previously for the Allerton Gate estate across about 28 ha of farmland by Stokesley Road to foster a balanced, diverse community. A new road linking Stokesley Road to Bullamoor Road junction with green spaces, shops and small businesses and pedestrian/cyclist connections to the town center. The scheme is part of Hambleton's housing strategy aligned with town improvements funded regionally.
